Anambra state Police Command has paraded thirty-four youths over cult related activities at Enugwu-Ukwu Special Anti-Cultism Squad Unit of the command.
Among the thirty-four suspects who aged between twenty to twenty-five, four were girls suspected to belong to White Angels confraternity.
The suspected cultists were arrested by the officers of the Police Special Anti-Cultism Squad from Ogbunike in Oyi Council area, and Awada in Idemili North LGA, respectively.
Exhibits recovered from the suspects included three live cartridges, expended cartridges, initiation drums, cult Regalia, two machetes, pump action gun, locally made single barrel pistol, among others.
During the parade exercise, while some of the suspects confessed to belong to various cult groups including Black Axe, Vikings, Ayeez, and Viper confraternities and pleaded for leniency, others denied membership of any of the secrete cults and pleaded for their release.
Parading the suspects, Anambra state Commissioner of Police, Mr John Abang represented by the Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Haruna Mohammed warned youths against secret cult which he said the command has zero tolerance for, advising youths to channel their energy and talents into things that will be beneficial to them, their families, and the society at large.
Mr Abang revealed that the suspects were arrested from the 12th of this month, and assured that after investigation, the suspects will be prosecuted and afterwards imprisoned if convicted, to serve as a deterrent to others.
He however asked Ndi Anambra to be security conscious at all times and to report any suspicious person or illegal activities to a nearby police station for prompt action.
The Commissioner of Police also advised parents and guardians to always monitor the activities of their children and wards to save them from cultism and other criminal and illegal activities.
The Anambra state Police Command also paraded another suspect, Mr Gerald Chika a native of Enugu state, at the Police Headquarters in Amawbia who was arrested at Emordi market in Awka where he attempted to rob one of the marketers in the market, Mr Kenechukwu Okafor of his belongings.
“Cult Regalia” = Uhuru baseball cap.
Maybe Von, Tayo and Co need to find another fake name for their fake façade of a “humanitarian organisation” and start printing some new, less conspicuous, baseball caps to try slip under the radar.
They have further explaining to do also about why the Nigerian arm of their “humanitarian organisation” need shotguns and machetes?
If you wanted to learn about policing/crime would you rather be lectured on the subject by a high ranking police officer. Who after completing his criminology degree sat at a desk and just read about crime. Or by someone who’d been engaged on the streets in the fight against it for for many years?
If you attended a military college would you rather be taught about warfare by an academic who’d, again, only read about war in books or by a veteran who’d actively served in the theatres of battle?
Do you have an interest in understanding the major indicators of human trafficking?
Uche Tobias is the first to confess to people when asked he knows little about it. He just reads about it in books.
Much more fitting to teach about human trafficking would be those with a much deeper understanding in it. Perhaps those with a long standing history of been engaged in the fight against it.
Or perhaps even better still…. Those engaged in it?
The NBM are a criminal organisation who have one or two articles/papers that document they are involved, quite heavily, in this activity.
“There exists an organized crime group. In this case that group is the Neo Black Movement (NBM) / Black Axe (BA). Mr. Alika did not contest that the
NBM is an organized crime group…. evidence shows that the Neo Black Movement is synonymous with the Black Axe, they are one in the same…. They’re involved in drug trafficking, arms trafficking, racketeering, and killing is second nature”
“A Nigerian criminal network named Black Axe…. controlling an extensive network of prostitutes and ordering them ‘on demand’ from Nigeria”
“The Black Axe cult provides an illustrative case study on the idealistic origins of cults and their descent into criminality…. The group, also known as the Neo-Black Movement… was also involved in trafficking women and girls to Italy”
“Black Ax Confraternity…. developed into serious criminal organization… are associated, among other things with activities such as murder, trafficking in human beings”
“Police in Italy have arrested 20 members of a vicious Nigerian organised crime gang… The Black Axe gang is thought to be involved in a number of illegal activities… including prostitution, protection rackets, people smuggling”
Trafficking in human beings – Criminal networks “Aye (also called Neo black movement, or black Ax) are particularly involved in the sexual exploitation of Nigerian women in Europe”
“The Neo Black Movement (NBM)…. maintain that they do not have
connections to Black Axe, however is essentially just a different name that acts as a nominal cover for the Black Axe… involved in a multitude of organized crime ventures such as running prostitution rings, human trafficking”
“Another particularly brutal confraternity is named Black Axe or the Neo-Black Movement of Africa has also taken advantage of the Nigerian-Libyan-Sicilian route…. the traffickers have been targeting younger and younger children in rural areas in order to keep feeding the trade”
“Human traffickers make $150 billion a year in profit…. gangs like the Black Axe are running the whole prostitution pipeline, which brings trafficked women from Nigeria to Italy…. Black Axe/NBM operate on both ends of the trafficking route, but in different ways”
“These potential profits have attracted at least one criminal organizations, the Neo Black Movement (NBM), a Nigerian cultist group also called Black Axe movement, or Aiye…… involved in arsons, markets taxations, drug trafficking and human smuggling”
“cultist groups” (including Black Axe (Aye) and Supreme Eiye Confraternity) are involved in the trafficking process….. it is possible to establish the proximity of individuals involved in trafficking to members”
“Black Ax (the Black Ax in French or Ascia Nera in Italian, hence the title of the book, Ed) , an organization born at the University of Benin City in 1977, but registered in Nigeria under the name of Neo Black Movement….. engaged in kidnapping or buying young girls for placement in brothels in large cities”
“Black Axe or Neo Black Movement members are involved in drug trafficking, human smuggling, prostitution, fraud, money-laundering and murder in countries around the world.”
“Members of the Black Axe have been identified as human traffickers with members in Italy forcing women into prostitution. Black Axe members in Nigeria have also been discovered high jacking minibuses and public transportation and abducting victims.
“Black Axe has spread to 26 countries including Italy, where its recognized by authorities as the Nigerian mafia for running drugs ,human and sex trafficking networks.”
“Over the past two decades, the Black Axe has also built a lucrative business in human trafficking. Working alongside established cartels, Axemen herd Nigerians across the Sahara Desert and Mediterranean Sea into Europe”
“Authorities in Italy, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Malta conducted the international operation, which was directed at two major Nigerian mafia groups. Police accuse the gangs of people-trafficking, drug trafficking, extortion, and prostitution…. two main groups in Italy are the Supreme Eye and the Black Ax”
“he accuses Europe of being a large part of the problem behind human trafficking… Omoruan says it’s Europe that wants cheaper, younger prostitutes… As long as this demand persists, secret groups like Black Axe and others will continue to be successful and make lots of money”
Interpol: Online African Organized Crime from Surface to Dark Web (will download the PDF if you click)
“Black Axe Confraternity… The group is widely believed to be the same as the Neo Black Movement founded in 1977…. involved in prostitution, human trafficking”
Certainly overwhelming evidence that the NBM are (over) qualified to give such a lecture right?
But of course it’d be laughable to the point of been silly to suggest the NBM would actually give a lecture about human trafficking… despite been amongst the best qualified people in the whole world to understand what the major indicators of human trafficking are.
Yet this is exactly what they did……
A lecture entitled: understanding the major indicators of human trafficking.
Seemingly mostly to themselves.
Lots of black & yellow…. that’s what Uche would be inclined to suggest what a major indicator of human trafficking is.
We’ll note the reluctance of NBM Members here in the picture to wear their standard issue berets or baseball caps with ‘NBM’ boldly printed on the front.
Why is that?
This has already been discussed before. Tayo (pictured below 2nd from the left), the organiser of the event and Head of the NBM’s Spain Zone can explain:
The zone has been fully registered though not as NBM AFRICA but as UHURU FOUNDATION, this might sound strange but the underlying issues here is that NBM AFRICA is currently under investigation in Spain and as we speak some of our members are still been followed by the police to see the kind of activities we indulge. As we were advised by our lawyers, that UHURU FOUNDATION should be the reason for our gathering till the investigations are called off only then we can change our name to NBM AFRICA
Which makes perfect sense…. The Uhuru Foundation doing a lecture entitled “understanding the major indicators of human trafficking” is massively less ridiculous than the NBM holding the lecture. If we can erase our memory that Tayo has just explained that’s who they actually are.
Plus… If changing your name means the police wont turn up and raid the proceedings then it’s an added bonus!
A face above looks familiar? The chap in the top photo sat in the middle of the front row. It’s the same chap in the second photo who’s 2nd from the right. I swear I know him from somewhere!
Vo….. it’s not? It is!
It’s Barking and Dagenham Council’s Communications Manager rubbing shoulders with seriously dodgy individuals as usual. Von Edomi of the Uhuru Foundation London.
“Uhuru Foundation London”?
I’m not aware of any such organisation existing and seemingly it doesn’t (at least outside of this event)
So Barking and Dagenham Council’s Communications Manager has turned up and spoke at a lecture on human trafficking, organised by a group infamous for human trafficking (of which he’s a senior member), to a room full of the aforementioned cretins and he’s had to alter the name of the organisation he represents because that organisation are been watched by the police?
That seems to be the long and the short of it.
Following this revelation I certainly see and am understanding the major indicators of human trafficking much much better.
Muammar al-Gaddafi. As he’s known within the criminal organisation that is the NBM.
Von Edomi. As he’s known to his friends and colleagues at Barking and Dagenham Council.
It’d be pretty scandalous enough simply knowing that BAD Council had employed a member of the NBM into it’s management and he was conducting his affairs with the aforementioned criminal organisation during his free time.
However as will be detailed below the majority of communications sent by the BAD communication manager to the NBM are actually during office hours and during the working week.
Having held the roles of ‘Internal Communications Manager’, ‘Media and PR Manager’ and currently ‘Corporate Communications Manager’ it’s important to point out that Von is paid his salary by the local tax-payers and works for them as a servant.
Obviously when he forwards former NBM London Head Lord Amilcar Cabral’s application to become National Head of the NBM on a Thursday at 11.47am although this time is possibly been paid for by the council (and the tax-payer) I don’t believe they know they are paying him to do this.
It’s clearly a perversion of his role, a mis-use of his time and in any ordinary situation it would be gross-misconduct. Possibly irrespective of whether it was a criminal organisation he was communicating with or not.
Other communications to the NBM during office working hours are a little less clear as to whether he’s undertaking official duties or not.
Again… If Von was to message the NBM on a Sunday afternoon I wouldn’t for a moment think he was acting in his capacity of BAD’s communication manager. However when a request is made to him from his “council leader” and he passes the request onto the NBM (through a secret NBM forum) during office hours people can be forgiven for been confused if he’s acting in his official capacity or not.
It’s also confusing when Von’s role once included: “strategy formulation and campaign planning, advising senior managers and elected politicians” that, during office hours, he’s messaging the NBM about local political issues and mobilizing them against the opponents of the MP’s of BAD.
Its unclear whether he is doing this out of his own self-interest or not. (Either way I’m sure that BAD council would not approve of Von using the NBM for their own interests)
Von has been made aware of the posts here on the blog (not sure by whom) and in the last couple of weeks and has reacted by removing (or hiding) a number of controversial posts (including the jihad one… already screenshotted) and has hidden his friends list (which i described as a “who’s who of the Nigerian mafia” and which I’ve already copied out in it’s entirety and is safe for future reference).
What he can’t remove though are his communications with members of the NBM via several secret London Zone forum that are now archived. Or indeed his communications with Bemigho which have been open source for a number of years.
All he has left is to do is furiously press his ‘NBM Plausible Deniability’ button. Standard issue on all NBM members.
“They say you are Black Axe”…. “No, I’m NBM”
“They say you are part of a criminal organisation”… “We visit orphanages”
“They say the NBM is actually the Black Axe”… “We are actually the Uhuru Foundation”
“They say you message Augustus Bemigho-Eyeoyibo during office hours”…. “I’ve never heard of him”
In early Feb 2015 Augustus Bemigho-Eyeoyibo’s entire facebook chat history was dumped on the internet. The UK’s Crown Prosecution Service later describing Bemigho as “the leader of a notorious Nigerian crime gang” when they convicted his siblings for “laundering nearly £1m for the Black Axe organised crime syndicate through UK bank accounts”
Performing a CTRL+F on the Bemigho’s facebook messages text with “Edomi” and it brings up some results. It shows Bemigho’s communications with someone called ‘Edomi’…. First name: Von.
In 2012 Von helped Bemigho write his National Head election speech.
Bemigho messages him on a Wednesday afternoon during office hours and Von replies back quickly “No yawa on the job asap” (No Problem. I’ll help with your speech as soon as possible).
Later that day he replies with a partial copy of Bemigho’s speech for him

LAYING THE FOUNDATIONS OF A GOLDEN PERIOD FOR NBM Aye Axemen, The Neo Black Movement of Africa is 35 years this year and in the next 15 years we will be celebrating our ‘Golden Jubilee’ with strongmen, Korofo keep our elders age 70 years old and thereabouts. I stand before you seeking your support to become the next NH of the NBM Africa, not because I consider myself the long awaited Messiah but because I want to help lay the foundations of a greater tomorrow. In my 2xx years in the Movement, I have served in various capacities and notched a number of firsts notably…… Achievements and positions in NBM to date We all know the problems our great Movement faces not least over the last 10 years or more. We can all identify the barriers and reasons why we have not been able to overcome bad leadership, greed, lack of a commitment and dedication to the course, lack of transparency and financial probity to name a few. I stand for the position of NH with an agenda to bring about change and a desperate urge and ability to put the PRIDE back in the Neo Black Movement of Africa. As a NH, I will want us to go back to the basis, where love of self and brotherhood made you a better axeman than how much you have in your pocket; where the truth you stand for puts you head and shoulders above all rather than who you know. We need to go back to our original ideals and in today’s Nigeria, fellow axemen our country is crying out for the neo blackist ideology and we must all stand to be counted and remember the oath we all swore. The Neo Black Movement was born in the temples and as the adage goes you have to know who you are and where you come from in order to ensure you get to where you are going to. We must work closely with strongmen in our temples, forums (where applicable), zones at home and in the diaspora – so that we can all speak with one voice and move with one spirit. A cry from one of us must echo …….. Not only will information dissemination be the watchword of my administration, but importantly orientation – to ensure we are no longer an organisation where things have different meanings based on where you were initiated or who initiated you – we all have to sing from the same hymn sheet. As NH I will ensure we continue where my predecessors left off with close liaision with like minded organisations, making the recertification process an achievable reality and most importantly make real the prospect of a permanent home for the movement – our Secretariat. In the short term I see the immediate problems of the Movement as threefold namely temple and youth violence, finance and the politicisation of the movement with its unfolding and related ills. As NH I intend to tackle these ills in the following ways:
Later the next month Bemigho’s speech writer (or proof reader) Von Edomi contacts Bemigho again.
Von Edomi Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 2:58pm UTC+02
Na once u call me from France and I think say u still de as I go enter Vienna Monday for 4 days and back to London – no yawa I go holla u after work. How the madam and the children?
In the context of the conversation I believe this is Von arranging (during office hours and during the working week) to meet with Bemigho in Austria. Taking the week off work (I hope and assume) to go and meet with the head of a criminal organisation.
Which organisation? The Black Axe or the NBM?
Of course they are one in the same. Although it’s routinely used as a defence when an NBM member pushes his ‘NBM Plausible Deniability’ button.
Either way Von certainly has an interest in news articles relating to “The Black Axe” (The NBM’s more popularly known name… albeit it inaccurate)
On Wednesday 12th Oct 2011 at 15:24 (during office hours and during the working week) Von shares to all NBM members of a secret NBM forum an article about the arrests of 8 Black Axe members in Italy. Asking for a translation.
Lord Santo Payama (Dafe Otite…. Von’s fellow company director at ‘Neo Black Movement Limted’) replies with a translation:
Nigerian mafia, arrested eight members of the Black Axe members NAPOLI.Otto Nigerian mafia organization “Black Axe” (Black Axe), active in various locations in Italy and in various states of Europe, responsible for criminal conspiracy to mafia-type and, for various reasons, extortion, prostitution, and illegal possession of arms port, threats and personal injury, counterfeit identity documents, were arrested by the police of sati investigative Unit of Castello di Cisterna, running a ‘order for preventive detention. The survey, coordinated by the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Naples, carried out with traditional and technical survey activities, has documented the structure of the group and the violence, intimidation and the climate of absolute silence typical of the Mafia, with the imposition of payment of large sums of money to finance the association and extortion even to those who managed the exploitation of prostitutes. Also documented esoteric rituals of initiation and affiliation to the group “Black Axe” novices were whipped blood to test their resistance to torture, and was cut the entire tip of a thumb to establish group membership.
The icing on the cake of this exchange is the following reply from Lord Jaja-Jawara (Best Tailor):
My formal, this information plenty ooh. My question be say how them they know all this levels, all to the extent of initiation.
Which to me clearly indicates they are acknowledging (as they often do in private) that they are all Black Axe. Of course there is no difference between the initiation described in the article and the initiation undertaken by Von and his fellow NBM mafia buddies. Which is why they are surpirsed and concerned and why Von has an interest in members of the “Black Axe” been arrested in Italy.
It’s not the only instance of Von indicating he is a member of what is popularly known as the Black Axe.
Lord Jaja-Jawara (Best Tailor) messages the NBM group with an article that starts “At the last count 10 persons had been hacked to death in the war between the Eiye Confraternity and the Black Axe in Benin”
To which Von replies: “My broda, Seems we are naïve about what our movement has become.”
Well even if Von is correct that he was naïve to what the NBM had become why didn’t he leave at that moment? Instead in full awareness of what the organisation he belongs to does he continues to message the criminal organisation’s forums. Directing, instructing and sharing information during the working week and during office hours.
I analysed several NBM forums and found 150 messages from Von to the groups. Less than 20% of these messages were outside of office hours during the working week. Assuming he doesn’t get over a 100+ days holiday a year and 7 hours for dinner each day a majority of these messages/posts he publishes to the group is during time he is paid money from UK tax payers to work.
So what kind of things does Von Edomi post to the NBM forums while been paid by the local taxpayer? Other than the latest Black Axe news of course…..
Some time after he recognised (and lost his self-confessed naivety) what the NBM was (a murderous criminal organisation) he decides it’s a smart idea to try recruit London Zone NBM members into London’s Metropolitan Police.
For a mafia organisation this arguably is a smart move and could be very useful in the future.
The post from Von to his fellow members of the criminal organisation is notably also during the working week and during office hours.
Given the wall of silence emanating from BAD and the MET I’ll be surprised if I’m able to determine if any of the London Zone NBM members took up Von’s recommendation to join the police…..
What else does he post?
The 120+ posts to the NBM forums during the working week and during office hours are very varied. As with what he posts to his facebook during the working week and during office hours it’s quite questionable content.
During his employment as BAD Council’s ‘Corporate Communications Manager’ (this is from Sept 2011 to present day) he (during the working week and during office hours) shares a lot of information with the NBM forum members, instructs them how to preform their roles, mobilizes them to take part of in various local protests, tries to recruit them into the police and many times indicates he is spending his time enjoying what others are posting into the group.
Not a fantastic use of tax payers money to employ this lazy (lazy seemingly at the job he’s supposed to be doing at least) mugu.
During his employment as BAD Council’s Media and PR Manager (this is from October 2005 to September 2011) he (during the working week and during office hours) does much more of the same. Shares movies, articles, mobilizes the Zone’s members to take part in various other political marches/rallies, asks NBM members to petition US’s Georgia State against executing a convicted murderer (of a policeman), suggests unemployed members in the group apply “for a share of £11.3 million of funding through London Councils’ European Social Fund (ESF) programme.”, raises funds for various of Zone’s members, discusses the latest news about the “Black Axe”, invites members to a talk by Boris Johnson, helps organise NBM picnics, plus a multitude of other things including again many times indicating he is spending his time enjoying what others are posting into the groups…. wasting more tax payer money for him perform his duties for the NBM.
Also during this period he relays a request from his “council leader” to members of the NBM asking for help.
We can only imagine how that turned out….
What infuriates me about this is that BAD got upset that my visualisation showed connectivity between BAD and the NBM. A council leader asks an NBM member for advice and the NBM member shares that request with other members. That is a fecking connection.
Not to mention the fact they actually employ this idiot.
Also during his time as BAD Council’s Media and PR Manager (during the working week and during office hours) he mobilizes NBM member support against the political opponents of the MP’s of BAD. This is certainly where the line blurs between his what could be his terms of employment and his personal interests. Personally I’m unable to determine (its very obviously confusing) as to whether this is him undertaking official work or not.
I’d help greatly if he used his time at work (during the working week and during office hours) only to perform duties relating to his job and not undertaking duties relating to his personal interests (such as his duties to a criminal organisation).
Although having said all this… Perhaps it’s a different Von Edomi. Despite been a very uncommon name it could be the case that two or more different Von Edomi’s exist (both with a deep interest in the local politics of BAD)?
In the secret NBM forums we can see Von’s work email several times pop up. Not only that but he also shares email(s) from other council employee(s) (marked with BAD confidentiality footers) into the forums.
That is naughty.
On the 5th May 2010 Von sends from his work email to his personal email address an article from the Times regarding the British National Party. He then shares the article (including the forwarding info) into an NBM forum.
I wish I had 1000 Naira each time I said this…. The article was shared during the working week and during office hours.
In December 2009 he forwards another email from his work email (during the working week and during office hours) to his personal email address. Again forwarding it (during the working week and during office hours) into an NBM forum.
This email is from another BAD council employee and clearly bares a confidentiality notice…. which states “This email and any files transmitted with it are private and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to which they are addressed”
Which probably means it shouldn’t be shared by Von into the forum of a criminal organisation.
It’d appear from the email that Von is inviting members of the NBM to BAD Council’s Christmas party! Which again… We can only imagine how that turned out.
Barking and Dagenham’s Council’s decision to employ Von Edomi I’m fairly certain was done in good faith. I’d be shocked if they were aware he was part of an organisation that was engaged in human trafficking, drug smuggling, fraud, rape, robbery etc etc Plus of course the murder of hundreds of people.
However it doesn’t make the choice any less disturbing.
I did actually mention to BAD when writing to them recently that my complaint was not against Von Edomi himself as they suggested (after all he’s a fellow human who needed a job) but against the procedures that enable him to be employed.
Procedures that could have been exploited by any number of other members perhaps…
Barking and Dagenham… Not the nicest or safest of the London boroughs.
High levels of sex crime, robberies, violence, drug crime and car thefts are among BAD’s worrying crime statistics.
During the reported period (Q1 of 2020) BAD remarkably managed to record a murder rate of: zero. Quite an achievement for any area of London (a city that has recorded 100+ murders per year now for 6 straight years) but not least for a borough with such a heavy presence of NBM members.
It’s good to know that whilst wandering the streets of BAD that cultists aren’t going to jump from dark shadows and murder you.
On 8th August 2020 at approximately 12.50pm in broad daylight a British Nigerian female called Esther Egbon had her throat slit on the streets of Dagenham.
Two hours later at 2.50pm another body in Dagenham was found. Again with a slit throat. This was the body of a male called Igie Erabor.
It was reported on the day as been a “double murder” despite police stating that Esther Egbon had died in suspicious circumstances, Igie Erabor hadn’t and police had “linked both deaths and are currently not seeking anyone in connection with their investigation”.
3 days later on the 11th August it was again reported as been a “double murder”, both the victims were named and post mortem results were released and published:
“Post mortem examinations have established cause of death for both as an incised wound to the neck. No arrests have been made and at present no other parties are being sought in connection with the matter. The investigation continues in order to establish the full circumstances.”
Whereas the local London newspapers were still reporting the incident as a “double murder” members of Nairaland had seemingly got together a bit more information. On the 11th August a post entitled “Edo Man Murders Wife And Himself In Dagenham” was published.
5 days following the deaths on 13th August the London Evening Standard reported the deaths as been “a suspected murder-suicide”
On the same day an update to the Nairaland post was made where the author states he copied and pasted text from the gofundme page set up by the victim’s sister. This text is seen replicated on the internet in several different places. On the Center for Enlightenment and Protection of African Women’s Right facebook page and a website called ‘Blacgoss‘.
However these paragraphs of text differ from how the gofundme page appears today and how the page was reported by the ‘Barking and Dagenham Post’ and ‘Evening Standard’ newspapers.
All sources (and it appears today as showing) show the first paragraph of text:
Esthe was 30 year old s. She was an extra ordinary, kind and a friendly young woman. A real goal getter who enjoyed helping people in any way she could. She has 4 kids Dave 10, Samuel 8, Derrick 6, Daniel 3. Esther was a bold and beautiful lady who refused to be scared of Coronavirus when her gastro ward was converted to COVID -19 ward at King George hospital in London from March to July. Even when I was scared for her life because she was in the forefront of the pandemic crisis taking care of only COVID- 19 patients, I asked her to take a break from her job for awhile but she simply laughed it off and told me not to be worried that she was stronger than COVID-19. However, little did she know she was not only with a video games addict man but also a killer. Esther was so passionate and very much loved by people wherever she went. After struggling for 16 good years as the bread winner taking care of 4 children and her lazy Igie, Esther finally got admission to do nursing at Southend University with an upgrade to midwifery. This progress was too much for Igie to handle and he decided to move out of the rented house he did contributed towards the rent or upkeep. He promised to get a fixed income job but didn’t. My sister was a permanent night shift worker yet Igie couldn’t look for a daytime job for a fixed monthly income but used his life to play video games and watched movies 247, for 16 years. When she decided to move on with her life he horribly murdered her.
However it’d appear from the other sources that an additional paragraph had been initially included and later deleted. It read:
My advice to women, stop finding excuses to remain in a relationship with a useless man. A real man who loves you will surely love and care for you and your child or children. A man who doesn’t care from the beginning is a write-off. Do not live an illusive life like my beloved sister and eventually lost her life tragically with a knife to her throat by a lazy monster like Igie and cowardly took his life as well. Igie also boasted to be a known cultist. Igie often lamented about how his mother abandoned him to be raised by 3 different families. Unfortunately, my sister didn’t see the signs, If you don’t have love in you you cannot give it. You can only give what you have! I hope you will know the signs when you sees one.
NB, the rumour that Igie brought my sister to the UK is not true. Such a claim is a personal insult to me and my family and its very ridiculous and I wonder how people are desperately trying to justify the slaughtering of a young woman. She was a British and he was not. The killer obtained his legal resident permit in the UK with the help of my sister and myself.
The sister of the victim clearly holding a strong belief that Esther Egbon had been murdered by Igie Erabor who had then killed himself.
Very interesting of course to me was the inclusion of the line that he: “boasted to be a known cultist”
I can’t say that I knew Igie Erabor but i had come across Esther Egbon before. I’d visited her facebook profile two weeks following her death whilst undertaking some unrelated research. At the time I saw it was an “in remembrance” page, left and didn’t give it a second thought.
Whilst researching the ‘Crime and Disorder in BAD’ post I’d googled (in disbelief) to see if there in fact had been zero murders in BAD during the reported period. This is how I came across Esther Egbon again.
Her profile was easy to find on facebook. Not least due to us sharing several mutual friends (all NBM members) on the platform. Although her list is private I was able to determine over 150 of her connections.
In addition to at least 4 NBM members she also had a number of other really worrying links to cultists. At a glance she was determined to be connected to a Viking confraternity member, a Pyrate confraternity member, an Ogboni Fraternity member, two Supreme Eiye confraternity members and two Maphites (Green Circuit Assosciation).
If this wasn’t bad enough she had a further several hundred connections to NBM members by a degree of separation. 50 of her 150 determinable friends had at least one connection to an NBM member.
And these are not the only dubious characters in her orbit. In the visual below ‘Individual C’ is the convicted human trafficker ‘Kingsley Ojo’ (sentenced to 4 and a half years for human trafficking in 2004) and one time suspect in a still unsolved murder from 2001.
Some other seriously interesting connections too which connect the victim by just one degree of separation (the degree of separation been NBM member) to women been trafficked through Libya.
Individual X in the visual represents an (NBM Member) in Italy connected to at least 6 women in transit through Libya to Italy as we speak and many who have already made the journey.
More directly linked are some other questionable individuals.
Including an (NBM Member) individual who has the following as his profile picture:
And an individual who his friends refer to him as a “(German) Burger”.
“Burger” (I see it a lot in this context) the United Nations define in a report as:
the smugglers who offer full-package services to the many irregular migrants who gather here on the southern approaches to the central
Mediterranean route are known as “burgers”
a) Watch out who your friends are
b) Don’t get involved with cultists
c) BAD is not a murder free utopia
Although Bemigho147watch has requested to give this information to the police…. More than 2 weeks later still silence on the matter.
Bemigho147watch would like to stress: The investigation continues in order to establish the full circumstances (of the tragic deaths).
Last night I was wondering to myself what effect having such a high concertation of NBM members in Barking and Dagenham has on it’s crime statistics. This curiosity was triggered by the increasingly worrying posts (and the replies from his friends) by Barking and Dagenham Council’s communications manager ‘Von Edomi’. Many quite extreme posts. Many of which are posted during office working hours during what seems to be time he’s payed for by the tax payer.
One post, out of office hours, in the small hours of the 18th October informed his readers “Jihadists kill 14 soldiers in attack on Nigerian army base”.
The article invoked mixed feelings. The initial respondent seemingly lamenting the Nigerians government failure to equip it’s solders to fight against the jihadists.
Later in the thread though two of Von’s friends appear and comment what appears to be in support of the Jihadists.
“We Move! End Buharism!!!”
“Then those armies should wake up and smell the coffee! They’re fighting those fighting for them. Foolishness.”
The last comment leaves little open to interpretation. My reading of it is that it quite clearly is in support of the Jihadists fighting the government.
It doesn’t surprise me that Von’s friends would hold this opinion. Many NBM members (those outside the UK anyway) are been monitored closely by the security services and the members of the London Zone are no stranger to expressing extremist views. Other cultists connected to the NBM even smuggling weapons for extremists whilst concurrently engaging in human trafficking.
So whereas in Toronto in 2015 detectives were quotedto be “working quickly, trying to stop the group from becoming entrenched” and they had “began to worry the group’s brazenness would signify to the community that “Axemen are here. And they’re open about it, and the police are doing nothing.”
In the UK, as pointed time after time here, it’s a very different story.
In the UK the group are now entrenched and they are been brazen. Aside from the recent arrests of Bemigho’s sister-law and her two siblings I’m not aware of any other action. Repeated emails to the police are either ignored or dismissed on the grounds that the group are not known.
The CPS article states the organisation has: been linked to decades of murders, rapes, extortion and drug dealing in Nigeria and across the world.
I was curious then whether activities the group are famous for are higher in Barking and Dagenham than other regions of the country. The answer is evident by what I found in crime statistics for the area of Barking and Dagenham.
Rape? Included in the stats as “sexual offences”. Worst in the country.
Violence against a person… with injury. 2nd worst in the country.
Robbery…. the “Omila Package” as the NBM refer to it…. Worst in the country. Significantly so.
Drug Offences…. Worst in the country.
Car theft…. In 2015 Canadian law enforcement dismantled an NBM car theft ring. In Barking and Dagenham… 2nd worst area for car thefts in the stats.
It doesn’t appear that authorities in Barking and Dagenham could dismantle some Ikea flat pack furniture. Never mind a now entrenched mafia.
Though when you have a member of the said mafia in authority then it explains a lot.
There is an upside to have a mafia (potentially) having a major influence on your local crime figures.
When rape, robbery, drug offences, violence and car thefts are your local mafia’s activities of choice it brings crime in other areas down. Other types of crime indeed are down and in fact the lowest in the country.
So residents of Barking and Dagenham can enjoy (providing they can put the rape, robbery, drug offences, violence and car thefts out of their mind) really low levels of:
bicycle thefts….. 2nd lowest in the country!!!
Shoplifting offences… Hardly a mainstay of NBM life… 2nd lowest in the country.
Public order offences…. Also 2nd lowest in the country.
As i already point out there are upsides to everything. Barking and Dagenham may not have hordes of chavs nicking your bike but I’d certainly rather that was the sum of my worries than a murderous mafia…
Which reminds me. I omitted murder.
Barking and Dagenham seemingly with a zero murder rate during the reported period (1st Q of 2020)?
I didn’t believe this and googled quickly to look. The first thing I saw (and it distracted me from looking into the reported time frame of Q1) was a double killing in August with a very strong and very interesting connection to the NBM.
Details of which will be coming soon.
No words for this…..
The above visualisation has been amended in order to remove any ambiguity regarding what was alleged to infer an endorsement by one of the entities to the NBM and it’s activities.
I must stress that I believe neither the UK government or the London Borough Barking and Dagenham endorse any of the illegal activities carried out by members of the NBM. Furthermore I don’t believe any reasonable individual would.
The connection lines between the aforementioned entities represent a connection between employer and employee and therefore represent employment and therefore stupid employment decisions made due to ignorance and fecklessness.
I must also stress that I have no reason to believe any of the individuals above themselves are engaged in any of the listed activities personally or endorse these activities. Although it is prudent given their membership to what the Crown Prosecution Service described as a “notorious crime gang” to have an open mind in respect to that.
As public awareness around the world on the NBM grows it’s good to see rising media interest and rising attention also by law enforcement. It’s a cyclic effect that is very positive.
In the past 12 months outside out Nigeria there’s been a sharp rise in articles that expose the operations of the NBM and chip away at it’s phony facade as a humanitarian organisation/charity.
Articles by such high profile publications as Harpers (USA), Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (Germany), Le Monde (France), BBC (UK), Russia Today, ABC (Australia) and CTV (Canada) help the cause greatly. As do the regular, almost weekly, appearances of the NBM in both Swedish and Italian media releases.
Not to mention their inclusion in the ‘journal of counter-terrorism’.
Such rising consciousness on the issue helps create an environment where the NBM finds it’s operations inhibited and it’s members under pressure.
However it’s not a hard and fast rule that members are scurrying for cover under rocks everywhere. For every Zone that has frightened members, paranoid and “on guard” there is a Zone where it’s members socialize as the NBM in public, lead very public lives and in very strange cases hold positions of authority.
One such example is the United Kingdom.
Having already documented the shocking inclusion of Jude Moedu in a central government role it’s very sad and worrying for me to say I’ve encountered a second individual with similar employment in London.
Elder of the London Zone: Von Edomi
The London Zone’s Von Edomi is currently working in local government as Corporate Communications Manager at London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.
Coincidentally Barking and Dagenham been Lord Ibr Godidi (Alex Osebor) main focus of interest for building identity profiles (by the tens of thousand) in his criminal exploits as an ID thief.
Generally NBM members have a policy of not shitting in their own backyard. For example Spain Zone members don’t spam out their lottery scams to the Spanish. It’s not smart.
Again this is not the case in the UK. Members there under so little pressure they can seemingly do whatever they please.
What makes this situation even more bewildering (and frankly aggravating) is that it’s not the case the NBM are completely off the radar to authorities in the UK.
Only last year the United Kingdom’s Crown Prosecution Service Specialist Fraud Division released a statement describing the NBM as a “crime syndicate”. Further stating: ” Black Axe is a banned organisation in Nigeria and has been linked to decades of murders, rapes, extortion and drug dealing in Nigeria and across the world”
Although the CPS used the term “Black Axe” and not ‘NBM’ they referred to “Augustus Bemigho-Eyeoyibo, the leader of Black Axe” several times. Which although incorrect at the time of publication they are very obviously describing the NBM (which are of course only popularly known as ‘The Black Axe’ but not officially).
So the big question is….
When you belong to an organisation described by your locations principal public agency for conducting criminal prosecutions as a “crime syndicate”.
When you belong to an organisation in the news regularly as been responsible for human trafficking, drug trafficking and a myriad of other nasty crimes.
When you rub shoulders with one of the country’s most prolific ID fraudsters (who just happens to be operating mostly in the local government area who you are employed by).
When your facebook freind list is a who’s who of the Nigerian Mafia world.
And when the blog documenting your organisation’s exploits has to suspend collecting the news clippings of the murders they’ve been involved with because there are so many….
How the hell are these people able to get jobs in government?
Let’s find out.
Good to see the NBM getting a mention alongside Albanian cocaine kingpins, Somali street gangsters, Russian hit squads, turkish-cypriot mobsters, jamacian yardies, chilean burglary tourists and the italian mafia.
London has become a hotbed of international criminals….
in the capital, people have been beaten to death, knifed in the street, found impaled on railings and had their homes raided, in incidents all linked to international gangs….
“We’ve observed a rise of internationally-affiliated gangs controlling illegal trade and organised criminal activity in areas of London and across county borders surrounding London and further afield,” says top London-based defence solicitor Nick Titchener.
“These criminal networks can span continents and will engage in activities such as drug, firearm and people trafficking, fraud offences and prostitution, with the proceeds of criminal activity then being laundered in a variety of ways to disguise the profit that is being generated.”
“Unfortunately, with the drugs and sex trade there is often an associated increase in violent crimes, serious assault charges, and murder offences as control of an area is fought for.”
Nigerian criminals were also linked to London last year, when three siblings were convicted of laundering nearly £1 million through UK bank accounts for the Black Axe organised crime ring.
The trio, who lived in Greenwich, were working directly for the leader of the gang – which is banned in Nigeria and has been linked to murders, rapes, extortion and drug dealing, the CPS said.
A historic NBM related incident from 2006 that, at the time, was never given it’s full context. It was a story that was picked up by the media as evidence that the police were systematically and randomly killing black people on the streets of the UK.
There was uproar around the world with Frank Ogboru been described as “not a violent man, he was not a criminal.” and merely a “businessman on holiday”. Making it seem that a random tourist had been jumped on and killed by the police.
The story would have been far less effective at demonstrating random and unnecessary levels of violence had it been known Frank Ogboru was a member of a violent criminal mafia and most likely a very dangerous person.
I certainly dont believe members of the NBM should be killed but think it’s very important that full context of such incidents are brought to light.
The incident was discussed in a London Zone Black Axe forum:
Can somebody please confirm that they know the above mentioned and that he
is an Axeman.

My Lord Oba O.N,
Thanks for the confirmation, Wino has already confirmed to me and he was
killed by the Police during some kind of restraint during questioning
outside a friend’s house late Tuesday night. He was ostensibly in London for
a SSPA meeting and the details are still unclear as there is currently an
investigation by the IIPC (Independent Police Complaints Commission) but it
is likely there will be a meeting this evening to garner the facts and
decide on a course of action.
Will keep you posted.
Lord Muammar El Quadaffi
This is the moment a tourist died in the street after being restrained by police.
Frank Ogboru, 43, was sprayed with CS gas and pinned down after a minor row. CCTV footage captured him losing consciousness after screaming: “I can’t breathe. I can’t breathe.”
The Nigerian businessman, who was in London on holiday, stopped breathing and was declared dead in hospital.
Witnesses said officers had their “knees and feet” on him as he “wailed like a dog”. But the CPS decided there was ” insufficient evidence” for any of the officers to be charged in connection with Mr Ogboru’s death in Woolwich in September 2006.
Speaking from her home in Lagos, Mr Ogboru’s widow, Christy, said: “I am crushed. I put my faith in the British system to give me justice but it has failed me. Frank was not a criminal. He did not deserve to die in the street like an animal.”
Officers were called to Calderwood Street where Mr Ogboru had rowed with the girlfriend of the man he was staying with. CCTV footage shows him calmly talking to two officers but when they order him not to return to the flat a struggle ensues.
Two more officers arrive to help restrain him. Footage appears to show one officer’s knee over his neck as his head dangles over the kerb. When the police saw Mr Ogboru had stopped breathing they tried to revive him but it was too late.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission investigated and the four officers were questioned under caution. A pathologist gave “asphyxia during restraint” as the cause of death but the CPS decided “a jury would find that the restraint was not unlawful” as there was not sufficient evidence that the officers had breached their duty of care.
Mrs Ogboru, 40, has been left penniless. She travelled to London but was forced to return home when the Met and the commission ended her financial support.
She is being represented by solicitor Imran Khan, who acted for the family of Zahid Mubarek, murdered in a young offender institution. She said: “I want someone to take responsibility for my husband’s death. I am determined to find a way to return to the UK as I must have justice.”
The four officers remain on restricted duties. The IPCC will send a file to the Met for its recommendation on whether disciplinary action should be taken. The IPCC will then take the final decision.
On Tuesday 26th September 2006, Frank Ogboru became another victim to die following physical restraint by police officers. He had been on holiday in Britain for three weeks when he got into an argument with the girlfriend of a friend.
Police were called to the flat in Woolwich, south east London around 10.30pm and attempted to arrest him. Frank later lost consciousness as police pinned him down on the street.
Speaking on the telephone from Lagos, Frank’s wife, Christine Ogboru had a very simple question, “I want to know what killed my husband?” Frank Ogboru was 43; he had been on a visit to London to see friends since early September 2006. His wife was expecting him home the following week.
The details of the domestic dispute which led to police attending the address are as yet unclear, but things appeared to have become sufficiently heated for the police to be called. Within an hour or so of the arrival of uniformed police Frank Ogboru lay dead outside the Vista flats in Woolwich town centre. He was treated by paramedics but was recorded as having passed away before he reached Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Early after the death the Nigerian government took great interest in the circumstances surrounding the death of one of their citizens. The Nigerian community in Woolwich lobbied their diplomatic representatives to try and find answers.
The incident had been witnessed by several people including Sean Pops, 26, who said; “The officers were on top of him, you could tell he was in a lot of pain. The guy kept saying ‘I can’t breathe’.” Another witness said he saw one officer standing with his foot on the victim’s neck as another officer attempted to handcuff him.
An anonymous witness, who saw the incident from her living room window said; “First there were two officers, then four, then more. It was like they were squashing him. They were pinning him down and handcuffing him. I saw officers with their knees on him and their feet on him. He was just wailing – the kind of sound a dog would make if it was kicked. I thought there were too many of them on him.”
It was reported that the incident was recorded on a mobile phone by a passer-by, but the phone was later seized as evidence. The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) launched an investigation into the incident which they claimed would be “full and thorough”. The Metropolitan police will also be investigating the case through its own directorate of professional standards.
IPCC officials leafleted local residents and talked to others who may have witnessed the events surrounding Mr Ogboru’s death. It had clearly not helped matters when it was alledged that the IPCC announced early on that Mr Ogboru had died in hospital. Investigators neutrality has been seriously questioned as a consequence.
Frank Ogboru owned a car dealership in Nigeria and has been described by his wife Christy as a ‘loving and generous’ man. Speaking from her home in Lagos, she went on to say; “I want the police to tell me why my husband is dead. He was not a violent man, he was not a criminal.
“He went to Britain to see his friends and now he is dead. He was my life… Frank was a big strong man, he had no health problems. I want him back, but my husband is gone. I can’t have him but I must have justice.”
In April 2008 the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) ruled that there was insufficient evidence to charge any individuals with any offences in relation to the tragic death of Frank Ogboru.

Notes for editors
The IPCC is the body with overall responsibility for the police
complaints system. Since April 2006 it has taken on responsibility for
similar, serious complaints against HM Revenue and Customs and the
Serious Organised Crime Agency in England and Wales.
The IPCC has the task of increasing public confidence in the complaint
systems and aims to make investigations more open, timely, proportionate
The 17 Commissioners who run the IPCC guarantee its independence and by
law can never have served as police officers. No Commissioner has worked
for HM Revenue and Customs. They are supported by 100 independent IPCC
investigators, as well as case workers and specialist support staff.
Since April 1 2004 the IPCC has used its powers to begin 97 independent
and 373 managed investigations into the most serious complaints against
the police. It has set new standards for police forces to improve the
way the public’s complaints are handled. The Commission also handles
appeals by the public about the way their complaint was dealt with by
the local force.
The IPCC is committed to getting closer to the communities it serves.
Its Commissioners and staff are based in IPCC regional offices in
Cardiff, Coalville, London and Sale plus a sub office in Wakefield.
