Gunmen Attack Dismissed Police Officer In Benin

Date: 5/3/21

BENIN CITY – A dismissed Police Officer, CPL Efosa Igiebor was reportedly attacked on March 3, 2021 by some armed men suspected to be members of the most dreaded Aye confraternity popularly known as Black Axe known for its notoriety in the society.

Narrating his exprience to news crew while responding to treatment in a hospital, the victim, CPL Igiebor disclosed that the cult group were actually after his life to avenge the death of the leader of their group who was killed by operatives of the Police Force led by CPL Orhue Endurance.

He narrated further that since the incident which occurred in 2014 during a protest, four officers of the special force that killed the cult leader have been executed by the group who operate from the underworld, lamenting that other members of the Special Force unit are still on the run for their dear lives.

Lamenting the death of the four officers killed by the die hard group whom he said included, CPL Isaac Iboi, PC Samuel Adenuga, PC Illiyasu Musa and CPL Celestine Ogboi, Igiebor expressed fear over his life as the group operate facelessly, especial at the level of in security in the country.

The NIGERIAN OBSERVER contacted, the Edo State Police Command Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Chidi Nwabuzor confirmed the incident, saying the attackers were members of the most wanted cult group, adding that investigation into the matter was ongoing.

NBM & Eiye Edo Killings Continue. IGP Deploys Special Squad.

With the NBM’s Henry Idahagbon no longer in his position of Attorney General  perhaps Chris Ezike’s “Special Squad” will have more success this time around.

More persons have been killed in the ongoing cult war between eiye and aiye confraternities in Benin City, Edo state.

At Sokponba road, son of a Benin Chief was shot and rushed to the hospital where doctors are battling to save him.

Several other persons have been killed in different parts of the state especially in Murtala Mohammed Way, Second East circular and other areas.

A headless body suspected to be related to cult killing was Tuesday morning found at Third Junction by Ikpoba Slope.

However, to curb the cult killings, it was gathered the Inspector General of Police drafted a special squad to the state.

The Special Squad was said to have contacted a former Edo Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike, to help them tackle cultism in Edo.

Ezike once led a special squad to Edo where cult leaders including those serving in the then administration of Adams Oshiomhole were arrested, paraded and detained for several days.

The intervention of Ezike saw many cultists fled the state and cult related killings stopped.

Sources said the Special Squad has begun raiding of black spots.

Edo: 15 Killed as NBM and Eiye Clash

Edo State has seen a fresh spate of violence in the State. At least 15 murders related to a cult war between the NBM and the Eiye Confraternity in the past week.

Mr Crusoe Osagie, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Communication Strategy giving a little nod and a wink suggesting he knows who’s involved.

He’s stated: “anyone who used delinquent youths to cause mayhem in the state would not be spared” and the local government were sounding “a note of warning to persons disrupting public peace and security in the state”

A similar warning was issued a little over a week ago with the suspected protagonists named (EPM/NBM Members) who he ordered to be put under “surveillance”.

15 killed in Edo cult clash

More than 15 persons have been killed since Monday February 17 in renewed cult war across Edo State, The Nation has learnt.

It was gathered that the killings were to mark the one year anniversary of the killing of two rival leaders of Aye and Eiye confraternities.

Eight persons were killed on Tuesday at Nomayo Junction, Aifuwa and Three House areas along Upper Sakponba Road in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area.

Witnesses described the scene as a war theatre.

One man said over 30 persons hid inside his shop at Three House Junction while the cult boys were shooting intermittently.

At the notorious Third Junction, four persons were killed while others were killed in different parts of the state.

It was gathered that some suspects arrested in connection with last year’s killings, especially two leaders of Eiye and Aye confraternities, were released last month.

Policemen were later seen at Third Junction arresting suspected cultists but residents said they were arresting innocent traders and artisans.

Police spokesman Chidi Nwabuzor said he was yet to be briefed on the cult killings, adding that the police have a right to randomly arrest people within the vicinity of crime, release the innocent and prosecute suspects.

The state government has decried the increase in cult-related killings in the state.

In a statement on Thursday, Mr Crusoe Osagie, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Communication Strategy, said the state government would not condone any act of violence.

He said that anyone who used delinquent youths to cause mayhem in the state would not be spared.

Osagie said it had become expedient to sound a note of warning to persons disrupting public peace and security in the state.

He noted that the government had directed security agencies in the state to bring violators to book.

“We are working closely with the Nigeria Police Force and other relevant security agencies in the state to arrest the rise in cult clashes.

“We assure that these clashes will be contained,” he said.

Osagie appealed to parents to keep a close eye on their wards and children and monitor their whereabouts so they would not be used to do the bidding of desperate persons.

War in Edo 2020 – Violence, Bombs, Gunmen, False Flag Terror and The NBM.

It’s not click-bait… It’s Edo State politics.

What i’m starting to notice about news reporting in Edo State (and Nigeria generally) is that the press pick up on individual stories but very rarely seem to link them into what are clearly ‘mega-stories’ of significant public interest.

Another all out war in Edo State looms as the next governorship election draws closer and the first shots have been fired (very literally).

Usually it’s one political group against another (say APC v PDP). However this year the APC currently have full control of Edo State and the power struggle is an internal one. It’s already turning very nasty.

Two sides have formed. One group supporting the current governor: Godwin Obaseki

The other group supporting a breakaway faction hoping for the instillation of: Osagie Ize-Iyamu

The breakaway faction (supporting Ize-Iyamu) have formed an internal “pressure group” called The Edo Peoples Movement (EPM). Whilst their counterparts supporting Obaseki have formed The Obaseki/Shaibu Movement (OSM).

The pressure group EPM consist of a nefarious bunch. A mix of cultists, cultist utilizers and terrorists. Their idea of “pressure” is the use of violence, bombs, gunmen, false flag terrorism and the NBM.

A good article here documents how the two sides are comprised.

Many of the same names just happen to appear in this blog post from 2016 (which also details EPM’s Adams Oshiomhole’s historic relationship with the NBM and cultists generally)

Other notable figures in the EPM aside from Adams Oshiomhole are: Osaro Obazee (NBM), Tony “Kabaka” Adun (NBM) and Hon Henry Idahagbon (NBM). Just to name a small few. Most of the EPM in fact seem to be of notably bad character.

Tony “Kabaka” Adun is the hired thug you hire to hire hired thugs. He was weaponized by Adams Oshiomhole during his governorship election and rewarded with a government role which saw him extorting (through brutality and murder) the population of Edo. He’s now a billionaire. Quite an oddball one.

Hon Henry Idahagbon is the former Edo State Attorney General responsible for the release of hundreds of cultists arrested for murder some years ago.

And last but not least is the EPM’s governorship hopeful himself Osagie Ize-Iyamu. Ize-Iyamu is the character mentioned here in this post referred to as “Kpelebe” and is notably at the time of writing awaiting a court trial for corruption.

The unhappy NBM member stating “The politicians wants to control NBM for the thugs Mayor have been supplying and using to collect vast amounts of money from the government (through) kpelebe”

It’s fair to say the EPM have a very strong affiliation with the Neo Black Movement. Both historically and currently today.

So where is the violence, bombs, gunmen and false flag terrorism?

This is where it gets interesting….

On one hand Governor Godwin Obaseki seems to be playing by the book. He recently ordered the arrest of Adams Oshiomhole accusing “Adams Oshiomhole and his co-dissidents in the proscribed Edo Peoples Movement (EPM) were causing violence and crises in the state”

“Oshiomhole’s unholy romance with the EPM has continually threatened the peace in the state, causing bodily harm to Edo people and destruction of property worth millions of naira.”

“Oshiomhole along with his lieutenants in the proscribed Edo Peoples Movement (EPM) resorted to the use of explosives and other dangerous weapons in some parts of the state, thereby endangering the lives of law-abiding citizens.””

Governor Godwin Obaseki also ordered and carried out the demolition of Tony Kabaka’s multi-million dollar luxury hotel that was built of the grounds of a primary school. Even despite Kabaka employing two lions as security guards.

However the EPM are claiming otherwise and are claiming Governor Godwin Obaseki is out to kill them. Their claims are somewhat non credible.

In October 2019 Adams Oshiomhole claims he is set upon by a horde of thugs sent by Governor Obaseki. He claims his own army of “APC Youth” countered the attack and nobody was hurt. The police responded by saying no such incident had occurred and the story was fabricated.

Next it was the NBM and EPM’s Henry Idahagbon who was subject to a high profile alleged assassination. He claims that assailants arrived in three cars to his Benin City office and fired from the road into the third floor of his building. Somewhat baffling to me that hired killers would expect to hit anything located in a third floor office from the ground.

Edo State police said they were unaware of any incident having taken place but Henry Idahagbon’s aide claimed “If I take you upstairs now, you will see things for yourselves and you will see the bullet holes on the wall”

EPM’s Lawrence Okah was next to be claiming to be subject to an equally hapless series of attacks. First he claims that gunmen arrived one night and “I heard gunshots. They shot at my bedroom. The police came and picked 52 bullets from my house”.

The following week he claims to be the victim of an attempted bomb plot to kill him. Again not a single person is even scratched by the incident. A bomb goes off at his gate and an un-exploded device is found close to his bedroom window.

During this incident it just so happens Osagie Ize-Iyamu is present at the property. Very curiously he offers an explanation of what didn’t happen: “Who will go and throw a bomb in his own house because he wants to do mischief?”

Osagie Ize-Iyamu been in the orbit of similar mischief back in 2014 when he claimed (his new best friend) Adams Oshiomhole had ordered the bombing of Osagie Ize-Iyamu’s wife’s dental office. Adams Oshiomhole claiming Ize-Iyamu and his cohorts were “stage-managing assaults on its agents to be used as pretext by its thugs to attack officials of Edo State Government”

Which is exactly what Governor Obaseki and the Edo State Government is asserting is happening with these recent incidents. They claim the EPM are staging attacks against themselves to blame the government.

The state government described Ize-Iyamu, Oshiomhole and their alleged cohorts as the common denominators of political violence in Edo State.

“On the 19th of October, 2014, this same Ize-Iyamu announced that his house along Dennis Osadebey Way, GRA, Benin City, where his wife carries out her dental practice was bombed and at that time, he pointedly stated that Oshiomhole, who was then governor of the state, was responsible for the attack. From that time till now, there has been a cessation of the use of explosives and other dangerous weapons in causing mayhem and heating up the political space in the state.

“It is, therefore, rather curious that with the same Ize-Iyamu coming back into the political space in the last three months, extreme political violence has resurfaced with bombs going off in parts of the state and gunmen attacking politically exposed persons.”

The Edo State government recently released a press release on the whole debacle detailing their theory of the EPM’s motive for carrying out the attacks.

The Edo State Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, Hon. Paul Ohonbamu, has said the former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Osagie Ize-Iyamu and members of the proscribed Edo Peoples Movement (EPM) are working towards forcing the Federal Government to declare a State of Emergency in the state.

This followed the use of explosives and other dangerous weapons by persons linked to the group in causing mayhem and heating up the political space in Edo State.

Ohonbamu, who spoke with journalists in Benin City, reiterated that the state governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki is not prone to violence and has nothing to gain in threatening the lives of opposition members.

He said it was laughable that the bombings have continued to follow the same pattern, noting, “In the past two weeks, we have had incidents of bombings in the state allegedly orchestrated by the members of the Edo People Movement (EPM) who went ahead to point accusing fingers to the Obaseki-led administration.

“The genesis of the whole problem started with the inauguration of the Edo State House of Assembly (EDHA) as the group, EPM, accused the governor forgetting that he doesn’t inaugurate the House but rather issues proclamation. They tried to use the National Assembly, the Senate and Federal House of Representatives against the governor but failed. Now their option is to resort to bombings to create the impression that the state is not safe so that the President will declare a state of emergency in Edo State,” he added.

He noted, “The recent moves in deploying bombings have merely portrayed their weakness and fear of electoral defeat. The defeat is sure and it is in fixed deposit. Osagie Ize-Iyamu was defeated before and will be defeated again any time any day. What is happening now is not a surprise as the intention of the EPM is to embarrass the Edo State Government by creating the impression that the state is not safe and the government is not doing well in terms of security but their plans have failed.

“Violence is a vice, which Ize-Iyamu imbibed right from childhood as Oshiomhole told us how Ize-Iyamu bathed people with acid while the pastor was schooling in the University of Benin (UNIBEN).”

The commissioner urged the people of Edo State to remain calm as the state remains peaceful, adding, “There is no cause for alarm as the security architecture is effectively keeping the state safe for all who reside in the state. The EPM wants to create the impression that the state is not safe, so that President Muhammadu Buhari will declare a state of emergency in Edo State. They should wait till the party primary and show how strategic they are by winning.”

It would seem to be a fair assessment of the situation.

I’d go on to conclude that whereas the Italian security services have recently stated it’s a concern that the NBM could be become responsible for extremist activities then they are probably unaware of the NBM’s activities in Edo State.

Activities that are pulled right out from Adolf Hitler’s book of tactics and that of far right elements in the orbit of Operation Gladio and other such other things.

Interesting weeks and months ahead in Edo State.

10,000 Nigerians Killed in Cult-Related Violence Between 1996 and 2019 – NGO

20 individuals reported dead over the past days in renewed cult-violence in Benin. A video circulating today of one victim having his rib cage hacked open with axes and rival cultists pulling out his heart and drinking the blood from it….

Disturbing Video *** WARNING***

Source: Source:

No fewer than 10,000 people have been killed in cult-related violence within and outside school campuses between 1996 and 2019, according to Ike Onyechere, Founding Chairman, Exams Ethic Marshall International (EEMI), an NGO.

Mr Onyechere made this known in Abuja on Monday at a news conference on the imperatives for stamping out Campus Cultism, Exam Malpractices and Sex-For-Grade menace in the country.

Mr Onyechere said that there was need to produce a new marshal plan of action for stamping out cultism and sex-for-grade tendencies, saying that the organisation would be hosting a National Consultative Conference of Education Leaders on combating campus cultism and sex-for-grade from 9 to 13 December, 2019.

“Over 40 different cult groups, with a total of over 12,000 chapters, operate in school campuses across Nigeria. These gangs have killed at least 10,000 people between 1996 and 2019.

“Hundreds of thousands have been injured, harassed, raped, arrested, detained, suspended and expelled. Lecturers are being intimidated and blackmailed by cultists into awarding unmerited grades, fueling examination malpractices and academic dishonesty.

“The matter is being made worse as cult operations have spread to primary and secondary schools,” he said.

Mr Onyechere also called for consensus among education stakeholders on the dangers of exam malpractice, campus cultism and sex-for-grade menace to education, students, staff, families, society and the nation, saying that the commitment to stamp them out must be total.

He said that some highly intelligent parents and educated people charged with the responsibility of administering the education system were justifying their active participation in, or aiding and abetting, of exam malpractice, campus cultism and sex-for-grade, or through the conspiracy of silence.

He called on education stakeholders, including heads of governments, political leaders, proprietors, educational administrators, parents, lecturers, teacher, staff and students to work hard toward curbing the menace.

“Stamping out campus cultism and examination malpractice in Nigeria’s educational institutions requires prioritisation by the executive, legislative and judicial arms of government at federal and state levels.

“It should be a top priority in the programmes, projects, agenda, vision and mission statements of all education stakeholders, including education ministries, regulatory agencies and institutions,” he said.

He appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to issue an Executive Order empowering heads of tertiary institutions to deploy all necessary legal, security and administrative measures toward stamping out cultism in their institutions. (NAN)

NBM Food For Thought…. Part 1

NBM Food For Thought…. is Dr Mayor Onyebueke the right man to look into the Neo Black Movement’s “financial involvement with the government”?

This is what Dr Mayor Onyebueke is been asked to do.

Dr Mayor Onyebueke aka Lord Patrice Lumumba of the Neo Black Movement accepted 35 million Naira ($175,000+ USD) from former Edo State Governor Lucky Igbinedion to mobilize the NBM cultists to perpetrate political thuggery, killing and election rigging.

Also Dr Mayor Onyebueke accepted money from Chief Lucky Imasuen (Former Deputy Governor of Edo state) to secure the ACP (Action Congress Party) victory.

Also Dr Mayor Onyebueke accepted “serious funds” again from the PDP Party to ensure the loss in the House of Assembly of (fellow Neo Black Movement members:) Hon Anslem Agbabi and Hon. Saiki Samuel.

Also Dr Mayor Onyebueke accepted 750,000 Naira on behalf of the Neo Black Movement from Lucky Igbinedion for the NBM to “secure PDP (People’s Democratic Party) victory”. Which they did.

No-one therefore more qualified to investigate the matter of the NBM’s financial involvement with the government than him!

Note: as well as accepting millions to ensure in some instances that his fellow NBM members didn’t achieve victory… He actually embezzled all the money and gave the NBM none (much to their disgust).

There is no honor among Assmen.

2016 Edo State Elections – Road to War.

As the 2016 Edo State elections approach in Edo State tensions are at boiling point and violence is a daily occurrence. I see two major factors in the rise in murders and other violent incidents

  1. Adams Oshiomhole policy of keeping his enemies close (instead of attempting to defeat it)
  2. Inter and Internal political violence (parties warring with each other and also warring within themselves)

Both of these factors have two things in common:

  1. Corruption
  2. Cultism

Adams Oshiomhole. Keep your friends close but your enemies closer.

Adams Oshiomhole was elected as Edo State’s 9th Governor. He was preceded by 6 military administrations (starting with John Ewerekumoh Yeri upon the creation of Edo State in 1991 and ending with Anthony Onyearugbulem who handed over Governorship of the State into civilian hands in 1999) and two entirely corrupt civilian Governorships comprising firstly of Lucky Igbinedion (who ran two terms from 1999 to 2007 and who got away with the embezzlement of $26,000,000 USD thanks to a phone call from his Father to the powers that be) and Oserheimen Osunbor whose Governorship was overturned due to “massive rigging and other election malpractices as well as widespread thuggery and violence”. Oserheimen Osunbor’s Governorship summarily nullified by the courts and his position duly handed over to Adams Oshiomhole who has been Governor since 2008 . His second and final term set to end in 2016.

Despite the seat of power been wrestled from Lucky Igbinedion’s PDP party’s hands into the hands of the ACN party Lucky Igbinedion’s corrupt administration never actually lost power. Under the guise of the political pressure group “The Grace Group” the PDP suffered a multitude of high profile defections from the losing PDP party into the ACN’s Edo State Government. Therefore meaning that despite the exclusion of Lucky Igbinedion himself the corrupt and ill-functioning PDP administration, despite the people’s wishes, effectively remained in power.

“The Grace Group” that was the political trojan horse of these defections and was established even with corrupt funding. Chief Osaro Idah funding the establishment of the “The Grace Group” using funds effectively stolen from Bendel Brewery leaving it with a whopping 1.2 billion Naira ($6,000,000 USD) debt to Intercontinental Bank. Chief Osaro Idah didn’t mind though and left as General Manager of the brewery to take up the position of ACN Edo State Secretary.

This was far from the only notable switch of the role. “The Grace Group” facilitated the following defections from the PDP back into government:

So although it may seem like Adams Oshiomhole was getting into bed with the enemy (his PDP rivals and the criminals and cultists which formed the Lucky Igbinedion administration) it should be more seen as his enemies buying their way into bed with him.

Under this backdrop of corruption, betrayal and power seizing it is of no surprise internal enemies would start to bare on down on Governor Adams Oshiomhole. He was subject to assassination attempts on him and his staff. Including the killing of his Principal Private Secretary Olaitan Oyerinde and an attack on Oshiomhole’s motorcade in 2012 which left 3 journalists dead.

It is under such brutal pressure that I believe Governor Adams Oshiomhole adopted his strategy of keeping his friends close but his enemies closer. He enacted several dubious and deplorable actions. Which if he hadn’t he may not still be alive today. Such actions as employing hired killers like Tony Kabaka (Tony Adun) and his mafia boss uncle Bob Izua (Chief Osamede Adun) for the purposes of “revenue collection” (extortion through the company ‘Akugbe Ventures’)  and actions like forming the ‘Rainbow Consolidated Forum’. The ‘Rainbow Consolidated Forum’ bringing together all Edo’s major cult groups under one umbrella (Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s umbrella) under the guise of his intent to use them to stamp out the murders, rapes, robberies and kidnappings (they were committing). The ‘Rainbow Consolidated Forum’ consisted of the murderers, rapists, armed robbers and kidnappers that were the Neo Black Movement, the Maphites, Eiye Confraternity and the Norsemen etc etc.

Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s leaving office in 2016 will see the most brutal political violence Edo State has ever seen as the power mongers try to kill and buy their way into power. It most certainly has already started and continues to get worse week by week. According to one worried political commentator “Edo people say that more than 95% of the members of Edo House of Assembly (EDHA) belong to one violent cult group or the other. As a result, these different malicious cult groups have hijacked the Government House in a struggle to get their members in key government positions all over the state”

Below are visualisations showing an increase of violent incidents in Edo State between Jan 2012 to June 2015 (Data courtesy of

(one criticism I have of the FFP’s  ‘2015 Conflict Bulletin’ is that they differentiate between cult violence and political violence with no acknowledgement or perhaps understanding that they are one in the same thing… there is also the small matter of calling the ‘Maphite’ cult: “Manflight” which although a humorously ironic typo is another inaccuracy of the report)

The Devil to Investigate Sin – The Benin Zone Crisis

The Neo Black Movement National Head ‘Oritsebemigho Eyeoyibo’ has formed a committee to “investigate the Benin Crisis”. By his logic i’m assuming the crisis of NBM been arrested by the truck load and the tentative legal position the NBM holds in the State. This assumption is based on the order for all Benin Zone members to surrender all NBM uniforms, insignia and documentation to their Zone’s National Eye immediately. This of course due to the law stating:

Any person who has in his possession or custody of under his control any of the insignia, documents or other property belonging to a secret cult, or wears any of such insignia or is marked with any sign or symbol of a secret cult, or undergoes any rites or takes any oaths of a secret cult, shall be presumed, unless the contrary is proved to be a member of that secret cult.

The real crisis in Benin (when not seen through the eyes of Oritsebemigho Eyeoyibo and the NBM) though is the daily murders, robberies, kidnappings and rapes perpetrated by mafia groups such as the NBM of Africa.

So we are in a position where the creators and protagonists of a problem are setting up a committee to investigate a crisis of their own creation.

Surely the Government in Edo State would be better suited to investigate the crisis created by the NBM?

This is where things get very interesting. Who has been appointed by Oritsebemigho Eyeoyibo to investigate the Benin Crisis?

Well in addition to all National Executive Council of Elder (NEXCO) members there is the addition of the following:

NBM Member Hon. Barr. Isimeme Irogbe aka Lord Jaja Opobo is former National Head of the NBM 2009 – 2012 and now Commissioner for Special Duties (Oil and Gas).

NBM Member Hon. Athanacious Ugbome who is ‎Political Aide to Governor of Edo State at Edo State Government

NBM Member Hon. Osaro Obazee who is Executive Chairman of Oredo local government

NBM Member Dr Mayor Onyebueke aka Lord Patrice Lumumba who is former National Head of the NBM 2005 – 2009

In addition to several other NBM cronies in government positions in Edo State.

Does anyone else in Nigeria not see how ironic this is? This is like appointing the devil to investigate sin.

Here are some mug shots of this crack committee charged with the task of investigating themselves:

Dr Mayor Onyebueke:

Better get rid of that uniform and badge old boy you are breaking the law!

Dr Mayor Onyebueke 2

Dr Mayor Onyebueke you may also want to step away from the flag and I hope to God you were not actually at that conference (though i know you were)

The law clearly states:

Any person who attends to participates in a meeting or activity of a secret cult shall be presumed, unless the contrary is proved, to be a member of the secret cult.

Dr Mayor Onyebueke 3

Hon. Barr. Isimeme Irogbe

Hon. Barr. Isimeme Irogbe aka Lord Jaja Opobo of the Black Axe Confraternity (NBM) pictured center. You need to turn your silly yellow NBM scarf  into the National Eye immediately. Tell those two assmen pictured to your left and right to the do the same too. Those books and documents have to be handed in too. They cant fall into the hands of the security services!!!

Isimeme Irogbe

Athanacious Ugbome

Athanacious Ugbome, those clothes and that bow-tie are legal and can stay. However you old boy are not legal. You are deemed a criminal by Nigerian law and therefore must go.

Athanacious Ugbome

Hon. Osaro Obazee

Hon. Osaro Obazee, one of many so called “Honorable” members on this committee. I find nothing “Honorable” about other self-proclaimed “Honorable” NBM members awarding themselves positions within government. You are part of an illegal mafia and you are a criminal. Hand your self in old boy.

open your eyes 4

Oritsebemigho Eyeoyibo

and of course Head of the committee himself

Oritsebemigho Eyeoyibo, you forming a committee to investigate the Benin Crisis is not simply just like the Devil investigating sin. It is more like Adolf Hitler forming a committee and appointing Heinrich Himmler, Reinhard Heydrich and Rolf Günther etc to investigate the holocaust.

Oritsebemigho Eyeoyibo you are the Head of a worldwide mafia. Turn your self in now to the authorities and they may take it easy on you.

He said “All these challenges became worrisome. I had no choice that to call the Inspector General of Police who swiftly drafted more personnel from Delta state, Anambra state and Federal SAARS”.

The police boss disclosed that on completion of investigations 129 were arraigned on 2nd and 3rd of June while today 98 suspects were equally arraigned in court in connection with the  offences mentioned.

Adegbuyi added that the command recovered several dangerous weapons and other items bearing the marks of some of the cult members including two locally made pistols, four cut to size guns, four double barrel guns, eight single barrel guns, four AK47 riffles, three pump action guns, 146 live cartridges, eight cutlasses, two battle axes, one teargas, one short sword with cult symbol, plague, two neo black movement regalia and one shocking baton.

The proceedings of the court presided over by Magistrate Adiaken were shifted to the premises of the State Police command while journalists were barred from the proceedings held amid tight security by operative of the command.

The suspects were arrested by police in parts of the state for offences ranging from being members of rival secret cults, murder, armed robbery, kidnapping, unlawful possession of firearms and other social vices.

Among the suspects included four aides of Governor Adams Oshiomhole and eight others standing trial on 13 count charge.

The case is between the commissioners of police and the accused in the suit number CR/01/C/2015.

They were said to have variously participated in the activities of the rival secret cult groups that unleashed terror in the past one month which led to the killing of over 25 victims.

Part of the charge read to the accused stated that “You…between 1st February 2015 and 12 May, 2015 at Benin City in the Oredo magisterial district being public officers and professionals in the Edo state civil service system did conspire amongst yourselves and others now at large to engage in Black Axe, Marphites, Eiye, Aiye, Jurist, Vickins, Norsemen secret cults initiations and illicit cult activities in Edo state and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 4 (b) of the Edo state secret cult (prohibition) law 2000.”

Both the twelve suspects and others were reminded in prison even as the magistrate ordered that their case files be referred to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) for advice following an application before the court for bail by counsel to the twelve defendants/accused, Barr. Anthony A. Orunkoya.

The case was adjourned to September 9, this year for hearing.
